Our client is one of the leading producers and distributors of energy. With a strong commitment to invest and grow, they added new power plants and expanded their portfolio to include the production and commercialization of fuel. As the IT Directorate, we aim to be strategic partners with the business areas, supporting our internal clients in this significant growth, which also implied a major cultural change.

CHALLENGE


The company needed to unify management methodologies and adopt a new culture that would enable the digital transformation of the organization.

The main challenge for the Planning and Management area was to help the various work teams adopt this new framework. It was necessary to enable a homogeneous vision of all initiatives to prioritize the requirements of the different work teams and respond in the most efficient way.

STRATEGY


At Exisoft, we developed a strong Change Management effort with the client. To fully understand the need and ensure an effective solution, we engaged with all teams. In this way, we were able to draw up an action plan to organize tasks and implement methodologies for both hard projects and agile projects.

RESULTS


The client achieved visibility of the development team’s times and deliveries. By adopting agile methodologies and implementing a capacity plan, they were able to organize tasks, providing all teams with more information regarding actual progress and delivery times.

Additionally, by knowing all the requirements in advance, they could respond more efficiently, organizing resources and project development times.
